Re-Threading The World is a collection of textile pieces from the Read, Repair, Remake group, based in Jericho.
They read about the world, reflect on the waste economy, and repair beautiful things.
Since being published in 2017, the book Doughnut Economics, and its central idea of the Doughnut, has caught the imagination of people around the world.
It offers an alternative economic goal ‘to meet the needs of all people within the means of the living planet’ it offers ways to think and design towards this goal, such as being regenerative and distributive.
Today, an emerging global community of people are applying the ideas of Doughnut Economics in cities, communities, businesses, education and more, and contributing their tools and stories into the growing commons of knowledge and practice that is Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL).
Re-Threading The World is a collection of textile pieces from the Read, Repair, Remake group, based in Jericho.
